Come slipstreams
To twist and turn;
Make real my dreams
Accelerate
Please make sure
You have accounted
For Fate-

That you started on your feet.
Now darkness descends
But the moon shines bright
And this is when we'd travel
For that's quite enough light...
...We'd die by day
To be reborn in the night.

The title started off as a joke,
My friend and I would often write on the walls.
And one drunken night, we forgot how to spell Beginning.
So for months "The Begin" sat, written above my bed.
And I never had the heart to finish it.
